1st Trip to Mabul Island, Semporna
16 & 17 June 2007 - The original plan was to go to Roachreefs Resort wic is 45 mins from Tawau but wen we called them to confirm our booking it has to be postponed or we can only go there on the 17th June. Sadly enuff, roachreefs was cancelled. Sometimes, the last minute plan can be a good thg to do and this time with no second thot we r determined to go to Mabul .. thats what we did.
After few phone calls, Mabul Island is ready for us. As early as 7 am, we were ready to go and explore anything and everything. Its a different sight with a nice view from what ur seeing everyday. And all I can say, its a must have experience, tho’ I dont have any license to swim (gosshh!! hehehe) I found snorkelling is worth trying…but diving?? Hmmm..thts hard, gotta hv license for that and the cost is about RM 800 - RM 1500. But wat u can find down there is worth more than the price uv paid. Betullahhhhh…….so,bila lah nak belajar diving ni? Hehehe…Gotta learn to swim first rite, at this age? Hmmm..Aiyaahhhhhh….wapuchetaulehhh…
Nice staffs, great hospitality, enchanting view, mesmerizing scenery, good food (hmm?), meeting new people, bubbly companion, handy camera, …….. and wen its time to leave..felt like i left something there, and sure enuff I’ll come back again. With who & when … u’ll never know.
